Rev Gregg Miller, Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Pastoral Care

Pastor Gregg was born and raised in Ohio and served churches in Delaware, Long Island and Iowa before joining our leadership team in 1998. He did his undergraduate work at Barrington College in Rhode Island and prepared for ministry at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Illinois. Gregg clearly has a passion and the gift for ministering to people, and he is happiest helping others in their relationship with Christ. Here at WEFC he oversees our adult ministries. Gregg is married to Carla and together they enjoy their four children. In his spare time Gregg enjoys hiking anywhere and everywhere there is a mountain view to be seen. He also enjoys going to classic car shows with his 1977 Chrysler New Yorker and riding his motorcycle.

Pastor Eric, the newest member of our leadership team, joined us in June of 2007. Eric has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Calvin College and was graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 2003. Before coming to WEFC he served with churches in the Chicago area. Eric ministers to students in grades 6 through 12 and their families. He loves hanging out with students and seeking ways to bring Christ into everyday situations. According to Eric he hopes to be a lifetime youth pastor and will do anything short of sin to reach teens for Jesus Christ. He and his wife Christina were married in 1999. For now they live with their three "BIG" Newfoundland dogs. Diet Coke is his drink of choice. He enjoys rock climbing, music, singing, playing and penguins.

Audrey Jensen, Director of Caring Ministries

Audrey came to WEFC as the daughter of one of our former pastors. While living here she met and married Jack Jensen, who grew up in our church. To say she is a caring person is an understatement ... to meet Audrey is to make an instant friend. Because of her great capacity to care for others it was very natural for her to invest time developing a ministry where our people would receive predictable and intentional care. She now oversees a team of caregivers assigned to those who make this their church home. She recently was instrumental in implementing the Stephen Ministry at WEFC, where specially trained "lay ministers" provide one-on-one care for those walking through difficulties. Audrey and Jack have three grown children and four amazing grandchildren. She enjoys golfing, knitting and cross stitch. In the office she is affectionately known as the staff "mom."

Cindy Nicewonger, Director of Children's Ministries

Cindy is a native of Ohio. She attended The King's College in Briarcliff Manor, NY where she met and married her husband, George. They settled in Connecticut in 1978 and have attended WEFC ever since. Since 1997 she has provided leadership for our very active children ministries department from birth to 5th grade. Her capable and committed staff minister to about 100 kids weekly. She is known for her creativity and ability to provide various resources for ministry to children both here at WEFC and in our church district. Cindy and George have two adult children. Cindy loves to read and is a huge college basketball fan, especially of the UCONN Huskies. March Madness takes on new meaning in the office with Cindy around.

Doug Wisneski, Director of Visitation

Doug grew up in Hartford, CT. Until recently he was known mostly as "Ranger Doug" because of his long-standing role in our Boys Brigade ministry. Now he is sporting an additional hat as our Director of Visitation. After many years in the corporate world Doug found himself looking for a new direction. As a growing church we found ourselves with more and more people requiring visits in the hospital and in their homes for various reasons. With Doug's gift of encouragement and compassion it was natural that he would join us to help in this area. Doug is married to Debbe. They have two grown children and one adorable granddaughter. Just ask him to see a picture, or two or three. He is an avid photographer and loves to go fishing. Has he got a fish story for you!

Bonnie is a skilled Bible Teacher who desires our women to be students of God's Word and she seeks to equip them for their various roles in life and ministry. She oversees our various ministries for women of all ages. Bonnie is a vibrant, joyful woman who loves being a mom to their four children. Colleen Smith, Director of Worship Ministries

Music has always been a large part of Colleen's life. Growing up in a Christian home as part of a large musical family she appreciates the sacrifices her parents made to provide them lessons of various kinds. It was natural for her to pursue music as a career and she studied voice at West Chester University in West Chester, PA. During her time at college Colleen made a significant decision to have a vital relationship with Jesus Christ. Since then her music became her avenue in ministry. Colleen came to WEFC in 1985 where she oversees the overall worship ministry. She is blessed to work with an array of gifted artists who love to use their gifts and talent in worship and outreach. She is married to Jeff, and they have two grown children and two darling grandsons. She enjoys gardening, hiking and roller skating around town.
