Join Us for Breakfast to Learn How to Partner with a Missionary. Change the World Together!

February 19-26 is Missions Emphasis Week at WEFC. During this week, we will have opportunity to learn how to partner with several of our missionaries, serving with ReachGlobal, His Mansion Ministries, and Chosen People Ministries. They are coming to bring us God’s word, network with our community groups, and share in a special breakfast at the Heirloom Market at Comstock Ferre in historic Old Wethersfield, Saturday morning, 2/25.

To learn more about how you can partner with our missionaries to change the world, join us for a catered buffet breakfast Saturday, 2/25 from 8:30 to 10:00 AM. Cost is $8 per person or $15 per family – payable to WEFC – note “Missions Breakfast” on the memo line of your check. Seating is limited. First come, first served. Register here.

Another way to partner with a missionary is for your community group to consider “adopting” a missionary. A group would learn about a missionary’s family, their ministry, their prayer needs, etc. You will be hearing more about this concept, but for now, begin by discussing it with your community group.

In the book of Philippians, the Apostle Paul thanks the church at Philippi for their partnership in the gospel. He is full of joy and has a deep heart of gratitude for the Philippian believers. He says, I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. - Philippians 1:3-5

According to the old adage, “A rising tide lifts all boats.” The core concept of this still rings true - working together to advance a cause benefits all involved. Let’s partner together to make this a successful week!
