    Meet WEFC’s Summer Interns

Starting in June, we are launching an intentional two-month summer internship program. The internship program will include spiritual formation, leader development, ministry opportunity and individualized coaching.

Meet the interns (shown L to R in photo):

David Jensen is graduating from Wethersfield High School this June and will be attending community college in Minnesota in September. David is excited about learning some of the “behind the scenes” aspects of ministry and is hopeful that this internship will help him understand God’s calling on his life.  David will be working this summer under Pastor Ryan and with our youth ministry.

Daniel Leffingwell will be a junior at Trinity International University and is pursuing a degree in church music. Daniel is excited about getting to know the people he will be working with this summer and he too is looking for further clarification as to what kind of ministry God is calling him into.  Daniel will be coached by Pastor Mike and will focus his time this summer in our worship ministry.

Matthew Schuberth is entering his first year of seminary at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Matt is excited to learn about the different kinds of activities and responsibilities that make up pastoral ministry.  Matt will be working closely with Pastor Scott, and his focus will be on pastoral ministry.

It is exciting to see how God is calling out some of our own young men into vocational ministry. Be praying for God’s continued direction in their lives as they serve among us this summer.
